The fried Belacan Kangkong is a popular Malaysian dish. It’s super tasty & relatively healthy when you use the proper ingredients.
Ingredients
- Kangkong veggie
- Belachan shrimp paste — product of Malaysia.
- Garlic
- Shallots
- Ginger
- Onion
- Pepper
- Salt
- Lemon grass
- Sugar/honey
- Dried shrimp
- Cayenne pepper powder or chili
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Grind the garlic, shallots, ginger, onion, pepper into paste.
- Add salt & sugar/honey into the paste.
- Chop the dried Belacan into small pieces.
- Add avocado oil to pan, heat pan, and fry the Belacan until there is an aroma.
- Add the paste & fry until aroma.
- Add the Kangkong & fry.
