Almond Flour (Paleo-friendly)

What: A gluten-free flour, great for Asian sweets & bakery, such as Chinese almond cookies. This flour is made out of blanched almonds, which means the skin (which contains lectins) is removed. It also comes with a more nutty flavor than regular wheat.

Why: It’s a great gluten-free substitute for wheat and bread. This means you can make bread, cakes, muffins, and much more with gluten-free almond flour! It also is dense in calcium, iron, and potassium, which are healthy for the bones.
