Simple daily routine to tackle leaky gut

Leaky gut has been identified by nutritionists & clinicians as the leading cause of many diseases. Bad digestive microbiome = bad health, and this is caused by the foods & lifestyle most of us lead everyday.

Tackling leaky gut takes years of practicing healthy lifestyle doings and getting the necessary nutrition that our every-day food lacks.

Below is a recommended daily routine that you can follow to tackle leaky gut. This routine has been followed by people who have been able to cure their arthritis and other physical pains in a matter of 2-5 years.

Morning

  • Fasting — Don’t eat breakfast. Fasting burns down stored fat and generates growth hormones. If you think about it, typical food intake is much more than the body really needs. Eating lots in the morning also slows you down.
  • Exercise — Simple exercises like 30 pushups, 30 sit-ups, 30 crunches, and stretches are ways to get the blood flowing & mind active.
  • Coffee / tea — These are great ways to keep the body active, especially while not eating anything in the morning.
  • Diffuser — It’s all about the environment you wake up to. Freshen up your environment with a diffuser like this.

Lunch

  • Eat salad — Eat some cold food to keep your brain fresh throughout the day. Greens, kale, lettuce, blueberries, etc. Remember to eat organic, free-range, gluten-free food.
  • Eggs — Eggs are a great way to get energy and great protein source. Make sure to get cage-free eggs, as those have much less chemicals than normal hormone-induced eggs that will destroy your gut.

Afternoon

  • Take a walk — Typically we feel more tired in the afternoon 5-7 hours after we wake up. Let your mind drift with a simple 30-minute walk. Freeing your mind from active thoughts is critical for you to think outside the box, especially if you’ve been working for the past couple hours.
  • 1-minute breathing exercise — Take 1 minute to just do simple breaths. Simply breathe in, and breathe out, for 1 minute. Only focus on the breath and the 5 senses you feel as you breathe.

Nightime

  • Cook healthy — Cook with any of the recipes here. All include organic, free-range, gluten-free, lectin-free, so that you can maintain a healthy lifestyle and tackle leaky gut.
  • Take your vitamins — Take recommended vitamins and nutritions here. As an example, cod liver oil and Swedish bitters are vitamins effective in tackling leaky gut.
  • Night-time walk — Doesn’t hurt to take another 15-minute walk! Loosen up your mind and let it wander to freshen up your mind for night-time activities.
  • Don’t eat within 6 hours before you sleep — When you sleep, you want all the blood to flow to your brain, so that you can wake up the next morning refreshed. You do not want all the blood to flow to your digestive system to digest food that you ate an hour ago. Give your body time to process food when you’re not asleep.
